Q: Do you do commissions?

A: Yes! You can find my information here~

Q: What are your pronouns?

A: They/them! I'm nonbinary <3

You can set your pronouns here so I can see them in the chat!

Q: When is your birthday?

A: My birthday is the 13th of September~

Q: How tall are you?

A: I'm 164cm (5'4 or something) lol

Q: Where are you from?

A: The UK! I get this question a lot because of my accent - which is a mixture of German, English and American due to how I grew up.

Q: Why do you speak so many languages?

A: I love languages! But I'm also half Dominican and half German, born and raised in the UK, so I learned Spanish from my mother and German/English on TV and in school. That's also why my accent is kinda weird haha

Q: What's your favourite accent/language?

A: It has to be Japanese for language, followed by Italian and Swedish. I think Australian and Scottish accents are my favourite though!

Q: How long have you been drawing?

A: Since I was around 4. I actually started with painting rather than drawing! I didn't start to take art seriously til 2017.

Q: Who or what inspired you to become an artist?

A: My grandpa and I often watched Bob Ross together, and he ended up buying me an easel, paints and some canvases. Art became my way of expressing my emotions and feelings of all the turmoil at home, so I would say it's how I survived everything. My mother always told me art was useless etc, but I later realised that was untrue and that I could make something out of it, so I did!

Q: Did you study art?

A: Aside from GCSE and A-Level art, nope! I didn't enjoy the learning environment in art classes and decided to pursue it on my own instead. If I were to go to university, I'd study interpreting of Spanish, German or English!

Q: What do you use to draw?

A: For digital art I have a Wacom Intuos Pro Medium tablet, as well as an iPad Pro 10.5. I use Paint Tool SAI / Clip Studio Paint and Procreate respectively. For traditional art I use any piece of paper I can find and Prismacolor red pencils, charcoal pencils or my Copic Ciao markers!

Q: Is there anything you've always wanted to draw but haven't yet?

A: Definitely animals and backgrounds haha. I plan to study them more this year and hopefully finish a piece I can be proud of!

Q: Any tips on how to get better at drawing?

A: Like anything in life, the more time you spend doing something, the better you get at it. I feel like this isn't what people want to hear when they ask this, but it really is just practice-based. Study anatomy, form and lighting etc, then you can do whatever you like because you have a basic understanding!

Q: Why did you have surgery?

A: I've had persistent carpal tunnel syndrome since October 2018 after playing too much NieR: Automata. I had surgery to fix the problem. It went well and I'm recovering! Make sure to take care of your hands and have frequent breaks so it never gets this bad.

Q: I want to draw you!

A: Thank you so much for thinking of me! I appreciate any and all art I receive, and I showcase it here (you can also find references). <3
